Sorella is a small seaside ice cream kiosk in Clevedon.

Rooted in a family tradition first established with Fortes in 1952, it brings together hospitality, memory and making.

Each season explores a different theme through travel, flavour, design and small-batch production.

TELEMATICA EDITION 2026

Telematica Edition 2026 looks back to the slower, text-based internet of the late 1980s and early 1990s - a time of simplicity, curiosity and thoughtful connection. 

Inspired by Aldo’s original kiosk, this season explores slower, more human-scaled ways of working.

The menu continues to evolve through making, learning and refinement, with flavours changing throughout the season.

Everything is made using British milk and cream. Some flavours return each year, while others are informed by memories, place and family recipes.

Sorella explores how hospitality, business and creativity can exist together. It is a place to make, serve, learn, remember and share.

Every exchange helps sustain both a small independent family business and an evolving artistic practice.

As the project grows, new ideas, collaborations and seasonal editions will continue to become part of Sorella’s archive.

The indoor space opens at selected times throughout the season and may be closed during busy periods to support a calm, safe and focused working environment.
